Hmm... maybe just a direction which way to go would be nice. Are you looking for a color, a year, an animal? ;-) I tried a lot of combinations with the chords, but i don't really know what to do with the flags.
Have you found out where the tune is taken from? That would be a nice start. I think it helps what to do with the flags.
Yep, I've found out where the tune is taken from. But I'm nowhere near a solution... I can associate some of the flags to it and I've tried building anagrams from the letters below... nothing... great challenge (seriously)! :-)
If you found out where the tune is taken from: other countries have something like that as well, haven't they?

Thanks for asking and sorry I took soooooooo long to answer: Everything went fine with my move (except for some difficulties with my ex landlord in the end). Some things are still missing in my new flat but step by step...
Now, back to the puzzle: I was ready to give the solution but you told me you wanted to continue a bit if I gave you one or three more hints. Maybe it helps to tell you a bit about the idea behind. Similar so other puzzles I posted the letters that make up the solution are in the picture. What you need to do is find out WHICH of them. The flags or better the corresponding *spoiler deleted;-)* will help you to do so.
