- I can see my family.
- I guess I will see some of my friends here soon.
- I can eat German bread.
- I miss a lot of the people I met there.
- Life there seemed so easy there (now I have to finish writing my thesis and I have to look for a job).
- I definitely will be in trouble with German police;-)
And something funny: When I needed the toilet on the airport in Madrid, I looked for the basket for the toilet paper. I really forgot that I can trow it in the toilet again.
And something really annoying: One of my suitcases did not arrive. There were a lot of people who missed something on the arrival in Frankfurt but until today they can't tell me what happended to that suitcase. There are most of my books in it, my letter of reference I got from Volkswagen (I have to say which is quite good), one of my suits, things I bought for my family etc. I really want this suitcase back!!!

So, welcome back to good old Germany then... I've been expecting this blog entry for 2 days now, but I guess you needed quite some sleep. ;-) Your timing is pretty good as well, because I'm about to convice everybody to be here in the Rhön next weekend (September 31st...), so you can tell us everything about your stay. On Saturday I'm going to Stellberg, so I might stop by for 10 minutes just to say hello.
Michael
btw: Who's the chick in the picture? Didn't I tell you not to... ah, forget it...
I knew you would be the first one to welcome me home! Thanks a lot, it's really nice to hear from you after some time. And good news that there is the chance to see a lot of you soon. I'll have to spend some days in Hagen but I guess I better wait until next weekend at least before leaving.
And don't worry about the girl on the pic. It's Ute, a really good friend, you could know her from some pictures I published about our trip to Yucatán. BTW, Martin took this really cool pic during that tour (in Tulum) and I thought it was quite nice as farewell.
