I guess one thing most people think about when they hear about Mexico is Mexican food. I also had my first encounters with Mexican food and I like it very much (you can ask me in 4 months if I still like it;-).
Let me tell you that you have to be careful with Mexican food. Not only because a European stomach is not used to it. The rule red = stop, green = go does not apply here;-) I can tell you because I made the experience. Also green salsas can be extremely hot...

It is good to hera that you are getting advantage of your experince in Mexico about food about drivers, about culture. Well not much difference from the rest of latin countries , traffic lights are just some kind of ornament to complemet the city beauty, it is like the lights that we can't put when is not Cristmas :S and this is just the beginnning, by the end of the 6 month you will be a spice Guy

sounds really interesting, what you are doing down there. already tested some tequilla? *wink*
next to food, how do you accomlish the writing of your thesis? how do you get specialised literature (do you have access to a uni-library?) and how is the contact to your tutor in germany? i am a bit struggling with my project at the moment. i have to hand in a couple of so called deliverables like reports or management-presentations (project-language always sounds as if you are a multi-language professional, even if when you are just a rookie...) for the project i am dealing with at airbus and next to that i have nearly no time to write my thesis. i didnt even type my first sentence... but my TOC is nearly done, i "just" have to start writing ;-) but i think i will start with that next week, when i announce my diploma officially at our home-university. keep in contact and let me know how you do in mexico! many greeting from bremen, germany, where the weather is supposed to become better within the next week with something round 20°C and some sun - i hope.
